Established in 2006, Stylehome have successfully completed many projects throughout Cornwall and Devon. For us each project is completely different because each client is different and that is just how we would wish it to be. The aim at the forefront of our mind with any new project is to assist our client to achieve what they are looking for, and as such we see our role as one of advising and facilitating. This doesn’t mean that we necessarily need be supplied with a complex list of wishes, we are quite happy to take the lead and fill in the details. From start to finish, we want you to be as involved in the process as you wish to be.
We are also careful to determine where a clients priorities lie, the particular things that are of most importance to them, and will structure their investment carefully to meet these needs. In addition we bring many years of experience and problem solving to the table, it is important to have a great looking design – as long as it is one which is functional, practical, and works.
Our process is not complex and will generally include the following stages:
This is a free of charge meeting at our showrooms to discuss the project with no obligation. Here we will talk through your objectives and ideas and make initial suggestions for designs and solutions. It is then often beneficial for us to visit the site with you to discuss these ideas further and to allow us to complete a full survey of the areas concerned – for this we will charge a small fee of £50.00 inc vat to cover our time and travel to be refunded in full when the project proceeds.
From the information discussed and obtained in our initial meetings we will produce and supply drawings and sampling of the design for perusal and discussion. This is done simply on an hourly rate for the time taken, we do not charge a fixed fee to produce a design like many of our competitors. If the purchase of goods via Stylehome forms part of the design/your requirement then the design presented at this stage will be accompanied by a breakdown of costs so the project total is clear for you from the earliest opportunity, estimates of all supply lead times are also confirmed.
If your project involves the supply of goods then once the fine details of the design have been confirmed and go ahead agreed we will request a deposit payment which then allows us to commence with the procurement of all necessary materials. Dates for installation will be determined and the project delivered as agreed. The balance payment will be requested upon completion.
Our Design Deal!
We do not charge design fees to clients whom are purchasing the associated goods from us, it just seems.. wrong! Therefore all our design skills and experience are effectively provided free of charge to clients who choose us to complete their project for them, that seems… better!
