Made in Britain and using 90% British wool in its carpet production Axminster carpets are jute backed.
Fleeces are spun at Buckfast on the edge of Dartmoor, and stretched out and then blended together in pre-determined quantities to provide the most suitable mix for carpet yarn. Impurities are removed before a final wash which uses the soft clear water from the River Dart.
Carpets range from stunning plains in everything from neutrals to high fashion colours and stunning contemporary patterns.

Made in Axminster, Axminster Carpets’ unique 8-pitch loom, the highest quality yarn and finest weave to bring out the magnificent detail in each and every pattern.  Providing a long-lasting look and luxurious feel for years to come, this fantastic natural material actively repels dirt, is easy to clean and has the added benefit of excellent acoustic qualities. Keeping your home warm in the winter, wool also naturally insulates whilst remaining breathable to control damp and moisture.
